I'm back from obs, kind of sad when after 5days, everybody have to part. Went thru all kinds of things during this camp, really a fruitful one. :D made lots of new friends. Still remember days before gg to obs camp, me and friends were dreading for that day to come. And when that day came, we were all complaining on the bus to punggol jetty. HAHA.
30th.
Met chua, hongwei and zhewei for mac breakfast. Headed to school wf our big bags. Complaining all the way on the bus to punggol, assembled wf all the other group mates. Me and hongwei was in columbus. I was thinking, ohman, hell is here. tsk. Had ice breaker, Fadzrul was my day1 partner. :) HHAHA. Me and hw made friends wf yifai and hanming. Boat to pulau ubin obs, zhiyang and loraine talked to me uh. HAHA. Went there, started complaining to hw even more. Me and hw was the food i/c, started packing our food. Started making friends wf the whole group mates. :) Loraine, zhiyang, wenhan, junjie, Titus, Titus(awesome), Yifai, hanming, Adrain, Mingyuan, Chenting, Joanne, Jonjoe, Fadzrul. Haha, went super mad over the food. Super epic. Had trust fall for our first activity, i hated trust fall since the day i step into basketball. HAHA, cuz i was really afraid of heights. But still had to do it. Learned how to belay, had our outdoor cooking, pitch our tents. debrief at jetty. :) super nice! the breeze, scenery and stars. Lights off at 11 i think. HAHA.
31st.
Wokeup at 5, washup, unpitch tent, had morning PT, totally sucks. hahha. nobody likes morning PT! :/ hehe. Carry super heavy camp bags, almost 5-10kg uh. Hike to camp1, which instructor told us that was our longest hike. HAHA. slower than others. Stop inbetween at the alpine rescue. Challenging quest to determine if we can go to camp1. Passed. ^-^v. AWESOME TEAM. Continue hike to camp1, reached. Introduced to the place, okay, camp1 was much more nicer than camp2! it was basically a chalet. HAHA. Had high elements. Rained while instructor was doing. So changed to indoor rock climbing. :) Tried out, super nice! Idk what happened and i became columbus's mother mel. :) HAHA! Had fresh dinner! Everybody was so excited! HAHA. Bathe, forgot what happened. :/ hehe. Pitch tent and slept in the forest! Combined group wf Hillary, and tgt we make camp2 echo :D
1st.
Wokeup, unpitch tent. Super dark and cold. brrrr, had national athemn, and morning pt. :) set off for our 10km hike! Super tiring, but everyone endured it. :) Took around 7hours for the hike wf our bagpack on, tiring one though! Had magee mee for dinner! Pitch our tents, and had powder bathe! :D almost suffocated in the tent. :/ shiokness! lights off. Had to took turns to take care of the treyaks and stuffs. We girls had our duty at 1am, super tired! tsk, :@ wokeup wenhan and others and went back to sleep. :)
2nd.
Wokeup, unpitch tent. Super cold, :D hehe. had morning pt again! tsk. Build our raft. :D, super nice k! hehehe. took 3hours to build it, cool shit. and set off at 10am i think. Raft for 5h50mins! Super tiring one though, sunburnt. Yifai finally joined us because me and loraine talk some sense into him. :/ and loraine threatened him! HAHA. One part where the tide was high, and we was against the current, we couldnt move uh. But none of us gave up, we started paddling even harder, even stronger, but we weren't moving. tsk. Instructor pulled us wf his boat instead. That was the lowest point of everyone i guess, cuz we gave all we could but we werent moving. Continue rafting, and we came to this shit place. super yucky! x.x and mustaq was our motivation. Our whole watch wanted to 'kill' him, so we started wf this random cheer. 1,2, ah neh. dam joke! Dismantle our raft and hike back to camp2! everybody was dam exhausted. Hehe, and we finally got to bathe! :D woohooooo. Pitch tent and had dinner! Magee mee and rice. Haha, food taste gr8 when we share it. Debreif. Back to tent for sleep. :)
3rd.
Wokeup, didnt had pt. felt weird uh. :/ hehe. Went to jetty to have our breakfast. Me and loraine spread bread for them. hehe, mother mel's job. :D hehe. Watch sunrise together wf the whole watch and instructor. Something rare to do. haha. Had debrief. :') sad one though. had our last game. We're supposed to stand on a platform and tell the whole watch about our goals, and we're supposed to dive for the bell infront of us, while the others will pull the mat. trust. Everyone did it faster than the first time. ^^ Break camp, sat speed boat back wf schoolmates. Miss the whole watch. :'(
overall, obs camp was a super worth it one. :) just only 5days and they left an impact in my life. This camp changed the way im gg to look at life now, im gna cherish each and everyone close to me. :) im gg to lead my juniors and the team to be a better team. COMMON GOAL. :) im gna step out of my comfort zone to improve and lastly, never neglect someone/something when y're given a task to do another thing. :) never gna neglect that silly when im doing my stuff again. :) hehe. :3 im sorry! :/ I miss baby! :( hurry come back k! ive got lots of things to share wf you!!!!!!
